HVAC/R systems do much more than keep us cool in the summer and warm in the winter. Virtually every home and business depends upon some form of essential heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration equipment, providing plenty of work for skilled technicians. Greenville Technical College’s HVAC/R program is well respected in the industry and is one of only two programs in the state accredited by HVAC Excellence, giving graduates the knowledge and skills to get hired and earn promotions.
Flexible schedules
You can have a new career in less than a year with our HVAC/R options, and since many of our students work while they’re completing their education, all classes are available days or evenings.
CPS may cover the cost of tuition, fees and books if you're enrolled in a qualifying program at GTC.
Graduates will be ready for work installing and servicing of all types of heating, air conditioning and refrigeration equipment. Job sites may include sports arenas, shopping malls, theaters, private homes, apartment complexes, offices, industrial plants, schools, factories, grocery stores, and hospitals.
